On January 15th right before I moved to CA, we met a James H. Stephenson in Atlanta GA, through some brokers in New York, and one musical star Crazy Legs from the group guy.
Thereafter we had several phone call and conference calls we agreed to meet them in person, so the 2 brokers myself and my partner all met in Atanta GA Febuary 5th 2003. The first meeting never happend, we where to meet one of our investors but they never made it.
We finally met with the brokers from New York and had dinner, thereafter we met with crazy legs and the 2 brokers and had dinner the very next day, and all seem well.
Thereafter returning back home, Jim Stephenson requested $50,000.00 in cash by way of wire transfer to do this deal for us, he was suppose to intorduce us to another investor who would invest in this joint venture deal.
Jim would refuse to intorduce us to the main investor who would help us receive $16,700, 000.00 for a refundable fee of $50,000.00, if there was no deal, so after Jim explained to us (liar) that he would not do deals for black people anymore because we never seemed serious enough, unless we came up with that refundeble fee.
We thought about it for a while (1 week) and he refused to introduce us inless we came correct and serious by putting up $50,000.00. We then met on the phone a older man and his wife, Clarence L King who seemed to be the sweetest old man in the world who loves GOD and had the best intentions for getting involved in this deal, he and Jim claimed to be multi millioairs.
King claimed that he would become a billionair once he closed a few more deals worth $500,000, 000.00, now at first we thought yeah right! @#$% @#$%^ yet our brokers insisted that we followed through with this refundable fee of $50,000.00
Thereafter one year of promises and stay with us and hand on in there speaches we where given a closing date, and King would put up the 30% of the jointventure deal of his own money.
The closing date started at January 15th then pushed back to January 31rst at this time my wife and other partners had placed in there letters of reignations, most where 30 days in advance because the employers insisted on them doing so exept my wife Monica she had 3 months to do so.
The two men Jim Stephenson and Clarence L King disapeared so they thought, but we where able to find others who had been ripped off by them as well and called the BBB the Attorney Genral of ATL GA, the Banking Dept, as well as Dun Bradstreet.
Our goal is to get our monies back, and secondly stop them from hurting others, because we got hit bad, finacially emotionally and business wise, we lost alot of business because of these two crooks.
