We are now in foreclosure and only a few weeks to go. I've seen a CPA and 3 lawyers, all the same response "Pay just to stop this process" then they will take my case. I clearly have proof against them then why should I pay? How can I stop them if even the lawyers say pay?
Homeq has the strangest accounting practice, they apply multiple payment to same month, take months of payments and apply only to interest, report one number to IRS yet another number is the actual, alter payment history, etc. These are just some of the issues that I've experienced with them.
I've also filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, Department of Housing & Urban Development, Department of Treasury, Office of Computroller of Currency, Consumer Protection, Department of Business and Finance, Federal Deposit Insurance Division, Attorney General, etc. None seem to be of any help.
