Getting a degree from a school like City U, U of Phoenix, or DeVry U does not guarantee employment. The only good jobs are given to students who graduate from reputable schools like Yale, Stanford, UCLA, USC, William & Mary, U of TX, or any other established, accredited institution. The government should stop handing out student loans to students attending schools such as the ones in the beginning sentence. If the Department of Education would simply write these schools, and ones like them, off the student loan roster, I can tell you that the quality of education in this country would eventually rise. America is not creating educated graduates, therefore our business institutions are falling, our banking systems are falling, and so are all areas of American life.
Give loans to people attending accredited community colleges, but for heaven's sake, get those ineffective schools out of the picture entirely.
