Norvergence is now in Chapter 7 Liquidation. Court gave Qwest permission to shut off Norvergence's customers as of 5:00 PM today. Word is Sprint and T-Mobile are going to try work with Norvergence customers. And of course the leasing companies only want their 5 year lease money.
We were scammed like the rest of you and never received our complete services after 7 months of signing agreement. We began pursuing other services when the temporary shut down happened in mid June. We have since obtained other services. Payments have not been paid for fraudulent equip lease and we strongly feel that our good credit will not be damaged because of this illegal activity. From what we have read we do not believe that the leasing companies are totally innocent in this mess.
Now we are pursuing getting the equipment lease voided. There is a legal Co-op to represent all Norvergence Customers to counter the representation the leasing companies have with the bankruptcy court. This legal Co-op has been put together through Telecom Agent Association (TAA.) to provide legal services with equipment lease legal experts. For more information email dbaldwin@telecomagent. Or or call Dan Baldwin at 206-203-6115 ext2. The Co-op law firm is in Pennsylvania. You can get updated info on Norvergence proceedings at www.telecomagent.org
It is important that the thousands of scammed companies have a voice against these fraudulent leases. The Co-op Lawyer was present in the bankruptcy hearing yesterday and you can read their comments on the telecomagent web site. They say there is strength in numbers.
Good luck everyone
