Close to two years ago I was placed in the hospital for a surprising diagnosis of multiple sclerosis. I was placed in the hospital for close to 8 days. I was later billed for over $20,000. Although I thought I was covered by my previous insurance carrier, turns out I was wrong. I am a medicaid member, and to make a long story short I later received a bill from a different claims recovery service.
After close to two years of fighting the bill, I received a call from a claims representative from a different claims recovery service (December 23 to be exact) that my medicaid went through and that I no longer had to worry about the $20,000. I was no longer afraid to answer my phone.
Now as I was opening up my mail on June 12, I received a somewhat harrassing letter from the so-called Professional Claims Bureau and I was very surprised because back in December I was told to no longer worry about this bill from a rep named Rose from Regional Claims Recovery Service back in December. She was working with me for close to two years. I am a sick young woman and I DON'T need this kind of harrassment.
These so called professionals are stealing very old information from other collection agencies because my bill has been taking care of a long time ago. I don't appreciate this harrassment!!
