Internet Kiosk "turn-key business" is a total fraud!
I bought a kiosk from them (from Paul Pemberton), actually believing their promises that it will make $1500/month without advertisements, or $3000/month with them. That's $1500/month right away and they will find me local locations to place it in. Train stations, hotels, etc.
I paid $13,500 for one machine, and while waiting for it to arrive (3 weeks), I actually decided to buy another (special deal because someone returned one -yeah right) for $10,000. Total: $23,5000.
They don't have locations that come close to the promises (which are near non-existent in real life). They give out essentially worthless ones, because at that point, they have your money, and don't need you anymore.
Finally I got one in a small hotel, and set up a network connection there and finally expected to at start making some money. It averages about $40/month! And the DSL bill from the isp is $60/month! So I am paying $20/month with little to no hope of recouping the initial outlay of $23,500!! They 2nd machine is in storage. They became less than responsive on the phone, and I realized that I'd been totally swindled.
NEVER EVER EVER GET INVOLVED WITH THIS SCAM!!! They are slick and smooth and total crooks. The promises are wildly untrue. They simply don't provide the locations which fulfill their promises on which the agreement was based. Such locations are pretty much non-existent anyway, and these machines really retail for about $5,000.
This really victimizes people who know nothing about business (like me) and so can be tricked into believing this is a real business opportunity. They emphasized that all the best locations are going fast, but since I'm the first one in my town, so I can get the best ones if I act _now_. You get the idea.
They have slick Television ads too. Beware.
