I did not go to Sheffield Hallam University through complete choice, but I thought taking on a masters degree (psychology) before my PhD would be useful. Though they were friendly at first and said that full support would be provided things just got worse through the course. Emails were never replied to, tutors avoided taking the role of dissertation supervisor (too much effort I guess), the feedback was poor and made no sense and they could not justify the grades given. My supervisor went on holiday once the dissertation was started... It goes on...
I cannot justify this course being worth over 4000, only 2 of the 6 modules taught me anything new. As a result of this whole experience I'm lucky if I'll get a pass grade and yet I am a well recognised academic in the field I studied at SHU and previous universities.
