Everest is a true ripoff. They convince students to obtain outragous loans only for their benefit. Once the loan money is received the students are not a priority. They have an extremely high turnover of teachers. Why should a student have four different teachers within 6 months. They even allowed the director to teach as a standend between teachers. Now my husband is 4 weeks from graduation and the school is complaining about how much money it takes for the students to take the certification test for heating and air. My husband had two test dates. The first date the proctor/teacher was a no show. The next date my husband was told the failure rate is too high and the test is to much to give to students to fail. I feel if the students are failing it is because they are not prepared probably due to the school not being organized or having efficient or effective staff for the students. Why should the students be bound to the debt if the school is not holding up their responsibilities. The school is just going through the motions per session to receive loans on behalf of students. That's why they are cheerleaders when you come through the door and slugs once you sign your money over to them.
