I am writing about FCNH in Maitland FL. I started school on June 27th and I was only there in class for 4 days. I dropped on Friday June 30th. I was just informed by Holli Doke (by the way yet another new admission cordinator) that for those 4 days I was being forced to pay for those classes and that i would be required to pay for my books (which I only used 2 of the 8 or so books) @ 872.00. I have NEVER heard of a college making you pay for 4 days of class and all books. See the deal with this school are they are unprofessional and major mirco managment they instructors will actually call you if you miss a class. Missing a class is a fee of 2.50 and hour and for a missing exam or quizz automatic 10.00 and only can get a passing grade of 70%.in the antomy class is strictly all manual out of the book. There is no hands on models or visual hands on for this class. I was amazed that the instructor just recently graduated from this school wiht less than a year of teaching experince! No offense to him but come on teaching a class with hardly any class experince? This school very eager to get you money and then when they do. GOOD LUCK! This school of addmissions and teachers and all under qualified and change hands like a fast food joint. Its always a new person and that should of been my first clue however i really believed that they want to train you or so call train you to bring in people to there public clinic. Only after 5 weeks you do public clinic and at kleast 5 people a week. At 25.00 or so. I feel they throw you to the wolves. I want to warn anyone who is about to embark on this school to reconsider. There are awesome others school here in orlando like central florida schhol of massage. Yet they are private pay so I would love to be in that school but to pay 500 a month to go is not fesible for me. The other school that is great is Cortiva in St. Pete. Awesome program and very holistic people there. Ok so I am about 1500. Out for making a mistake and only attending for 4 days. Pisses me off. But learning experince. I ask them not to touch my finacial or scholarship money and they said they would not so I really dont believe them so I am going today to make sure that is a true statement. When I choose to left no big deal. If they put in to what they do to get you in the door with a bunch of false promises with the same treatment as you attend or leave would be nice but for this BS school is nothing but a waste of your time.
