"Morality or ethics, refers to how humans relate to treat one another in order to promote mutual, welfare and growth, and meaning or relating to good over bad and right over wrong." The main problem being with this definition there are indviduals of business's that to not equate the meaning (s) into an everyday practice. What happens is that many times with ignoring all of this inocent people get hurt. Kaplan was an establishment that in the beginning i trusted guided their busniess practices in this fashion. Guess what they didn't and they seem to be able to justify their actions.
People that are close to me have asked me why did I choose Kaplan over the colleges around my house? I thought Kaplan was something special and would really give me a heads up in my chosen professon. This was part of the line my recruiter gave me, what a fabulous choice this would be, the good paying jobs would be there for the picking etc. I was desperate to do something good with my life and proove something to myself and others etc... This all made me an easy target for the recruiter and his misrepresentation/fraud/lies etc. A few people have asked my why can't I walk away from this and get on with my life? Iam on total disablity and will be for the rest of my life. I wanted to believe that kaplan was the thing to get me off disablity and lead me to the promised land, according to the recruiter. Iam looking at a $45,000 tuition bill, and not physically being able to return to work I truly have no way to recover from this. If it was not for the lies I would of never enrolled in Kaplan. I was already looking into other colleges. Iam not the only person kaplan has hurt with thier lies. My two reasons for posting my story is hopefully somebody might read this and think twice or who knows maybe I can help another person going throug something simillar. I sincerely will not give up the fight.
