I am writing on behalf of teachers, parents, and students from this school. They have been bullied, mistreated, harassed, antagonized, and more. The Union has been unable to productively stop these actions, but over half of a long standing staff left, either on their own or asked to go for no reason. I myself was treated so miserably as an educator, for no reason, and lied to, had my reputation ruined, and made sick by the way in which I was treated. I am one of many. I kept an excellent paper trail, but these lying sneaky misogynistic egocentric liars created situations hurting the staff and those they are there to serve, the students. The Board of Education for no reason we know refused to hear the issues.in less than three years, the student population went from over 450 to just about 400 as students left school to go elsewhere or just drop out. Parent cries and reports to the state went to deaf ears.
Personally, I have been paid to stay home. They cannot deal with strong women. Lawsuits abound. Education is not a priority; their pay raises are.
A small k-12 school is the center of the community. This toxic place will not be a fond memory for most who get through. There is more interest in renting rooms than hiring teachers. This is a mockery of education. These men need to be called to task and leave. The school needs to be reclaimed by its stakeholders. Each should tell his or her own story, but let it be known that Charlotte Valley Central School is a dirty word, not a hall of education.
