Avoid Landmark Education - Rip off / Pyramid Scheme

I enrolled in the Landmark Forum in Los Angeles at the suggestion of a friend who claimed to have had a positive experience taking LM seminars. This friend and I had completed the Life Spring Seminars years ago in San Diego and we both found them to be of great value. I paid $495.00 for the Landmark Forum - a 3 day and one evening seminar. I completed the first and second days but did not return to the 3rd day. Reason? In order to maintain my integrity. Landmark puts the cart before the horse... If indeed there is even a horse to be found. Before the end of the first day - prior to my being able to find any value (aside from some heartfelt stories and tears) Landmark was pushing hard to have each of us call up family and friends (to be done sometime between the 10 PM ending of one day and the 9 AM beginning of the next mind you) to "enroll" them in the Landmark Forum. Huh? I am a sales guy - so I have no difficulty with LM being a sales organization... But hey... Sell me something first. The pressure to get others into "enrolling" in the LM Forum by sharing "... The Possibilities of your creating" something in your life is unnerving. Truth be told - nothing of any value had been created by that time for me to share - but that doesn't stop LM from belittling those in the room who have not called family and friends to enroll. Landmark Education is all sizzle and no steak - as they say in the advertising world. Save your money. Avoid getting involved with these characters. One huge rip-off. An aside: the "coach" who lead my seminar at times sat there and read from the syllabus. It reminded me of a college class where you were being taught by the T.A. And not the Professor. Come on Landmark - man up. Get your act together.
