In the middle of june I called the school to get info on a paralegal program and was told to come in for appointment to better explain the program. When i arrived the questions I asked were pretty much ignored and the admissions rep. Stacy starts to comment about this massage therapy program and seemed desperate to enroll me. As I was fast talked i became confused and was taken in for the testing for enrollment which in all the confusion i failed. I shook it off and took the test again and passed. As I was being pressured about this mt. Program i clearly stated i was enrolled in another school for criminal justice and i would deside and maybe come back after i withdrew thinking this was my way out the door.
By the time i get to the door stacy opens a folder and say congratulations you start the mt program next week june 28th, well my disability leaves me confused and on the way home i grabbed ahold of myself and said what just happened here, but ok il go through with it which i did and was nervous because im really not that brite.
Finished the block with perfect attendance and 4.0 gpa. Had personal problem and needed scrubs and books to attend next block, 5 days later i get a call back after my perfect attendance was already destroyed. It took cec to contact them to get back to me, let them know at this time i lost my appartment and was on the streets and would return july 26th and the program director bill said ok youll still pass with attendance, so i call the school on that day to return and bill says i was dropped from the program to restart on the 13th of sept. And it wouldnt hurt my financial aid
Next thing i know my financial aid was sent back to the gov. After being told by g. Santucci that i no longer attend the school, after all the study time and effort i put into this program i was pushed into, then i recieve a letter from the school on the 8th of sept dated from sept 1 of sept saying i have x amount of dollars credited to my account, when i asked mr. Santucci where is my money, thats what he told me, it was sent back because i no longer attend the school, i was in shock after all the effort i put into. Never recieved a phone call a paper or email saying i was withdrawn from the school.
I made several calls to the president patty about this program i was coorsed into and she never called me back along with other messages to program directors etc. I was ignored, then to find out i was charged for cloths and shoes that were to small, twice and several other things i was charged twice like the application fee for example. I have recieved no calls back no money nothing, now what am i going to do, i just wasted time money and effort and noone at the school has anything to say about it or has made no effort to contact me and now the carreer education corp wont even call me back. Im 44 years old waited for my 2 girls to grow up before i went back to school and all i wanted was an education to support my girls because i grew up with no family no support no nothing, i wanted to do this for them because we been without xmas and birthdays etc. I was doing my best and was ignored, lied to then under the arrangement with the program director thaught everything was ok then was mysteriously dropped from the program i was suppose to return on the 13th to find out i was dropped and no longer attend the school and im not getting no financial aid and to top things off was told in front of the class that they can destroy us financially if we didnt like and follow through with the program we wont be accepted at any other schools, I was singled out from the door, did nothing to these people and now im scared they will reck my financial aid if i have to transfer schools. Please help
