Chances are, you NEVER authorized the charge you are shocked to see on your statement.
Don't waste your time calling them to get credit, unless you just want to chew them out. (Think about it—are you really going to trust a company to give you credit for a charge they posted to your account without your authorization?)
DO - Contact your credit/debit card issuer immediately to let them know you have an unauthorized charge on your account and you need thier address or fax number to submit your signed letter of dispute. Don't delay on this - card issuers are bound by time to process disputed charges, and once that time runs out, so does their ability to help you.
Watch your statements carefully for subsequent charges — i.E., if you were hit with MWI "Essentials" this month, you may very well be hit next month or the following with MWI "Valuemax" or "Homeworks" or "Connections" or one of the others I can't think of or that they'll invent by the time you read this.
Also watch for other charges, many will be for $8.95 or $14.95, from other random companies - if you start getting these, which tend to be recurring monthly charges, you may consider just asking for a new card#.
