Hello there. Anybody who's interested in their eduzation there-find a better place to spend Your money! I was there for an Esthetician program. Bunch of liers, wiht empty promises.
First - when I got a tour of a school, the recruiter Miss Shera Bourke, was telling me a "fairytale" how nice school gona be when i will start it. Cause they were going throu remodeling. That was in June. I started at september 15. The construction started twoo weeks from there!!
Second - after numerous questions, when the construction gonna end, we got the promise: "december". You want to guess, when it's really ended? I don't know. We graduated in April, it was still going..
Third - soon after New Years we start moving from one little room to another, moving things, products and equippment from one floor to another-they couldn't decide where to put us. Once we ended up in unfinished room with electric wires hanging from the walls.
Fourth - it was so cooooold at winter time-we had to sit with our coats on! I have pictures of it. The heating sistem wasn't working..
Fifth - probably the bigest BS that was the last drop-director of school Mrs Jacqeline Pace (cannot remember her last name exactly) lied to us about state board examination!!! Their pitch was, that we cannot take theory exam in Health departament beore we graduate. We were not happy with it-that would make us wait 2,5 months after our original graduation date. Since we couldn't believe it-we made personal calls to health departament and got totally different story!!! It still took our "office people" one month finally admit it! So we won on that, but that only got us in more trouble-we were hated by all school and teachers, cause we fought for our rights.
Finally we were so upset with all, whats going on, we called regional manager Mr Vincent Scala (again, dont remember exact last name) and have all our requirements and complaints discussed with him. That moved us somewhere. Not very far thou... We got aditional training for make up -one week. Cause our master make up teacher wasn't showing uz ANYTHING! Anything. We would watch 80'dvd. Read the paper handouts ant then "play with it" phrase was given to us..
We thought about filing a law suit against them, for at least some money back. It, s too bad that not everybody from our group had enough guts to do it.
Final -If You want to become a make up artist (a lot of people enroling for that) NEVER NEVER NEVER go there. U will learn nothing. Estheticis side-education is somehow O.K. It alspo depends on what teacher You gona get. If You will choose evening program-I really sorry about You and Your money.
