My son who is 8 has been taking private drum lessons for about 8 months. It all started out good, though the insructor had always seemed abit odd to me. The instructor had a "different" personality that I am use to deal with, but usually seemed nice.
During the last semester, they call them semesters, my wife and I missed 2 lessons because my son had a Karate practice we couldnt miss and a Cubscout meeting. Also during the last semester the instructor canceled 1 lesson before we arrived and once had my son wait in the hall DURING his lesson. My son is 8 and we had a friend drop him off for the lesson and we arrived 25 minutes later. When we arrived my son was still playing his PSP and he didnt have a watch on nor did they have a clock visible. The instructor didnt even call him back to the lesson room, the instructor decided that it was time for a break I supose, with pay.
I petition for a refund of all the lessons missed (4) and he denied that request. As a result, I am making everyone aware of his business practices and would HIGHLY recommend that NO ONE seek lessons with FIRST CHAIR MUSIC of NORTH ROYALTON. They are located in the Community Church on W130.
