I requested cancellation of enrollment 5 days after I paid my deposit because of all the bad stuff I read about Kaplan. Its a good thing I did, because I had no idea what I was in for. One of Kaplans Reps, Miriam Davis instructed me to log in to my classes in order to complete my cancellation. Afterwards, she emailed me and said I'd owe nothing and be reimbursed within 10 days. I waited and called to check... I was never cancelled and of course was told now I wouldn't get my money because I logged in. I also began receiving bills from Kaplan. Fortunately for me, I saved all correspondence with this supposed Senior Admissions Advisor at Kaplan. I called and called, everyone was saying they couldnt give me answers until the cancellation was complete and that it could take up to 60 days??? I was pissed. I went to the BBB to get immediate results and fortunately for me, it worked. Beware of this school and make sure you keep all correspondence with you. They still tried to deny my original cancellation date to the BBB, even after all the managers I went through and the 1st set of proof I sent them. Once I sent it a 2nd time through the BBB, they took it. They are master scam artists.
