Rich Dad "Learn To Be Rich" Ripoff! It is Complete BS! Don't Fall For This Crap! Phoenix Arizona

If any of you are planning on attending a "free" Learn To Be Rich two hour lecture or the three day real estate investing workshop, PLEASE don't waste your time or your hard earned money! It is a total ripoff!!!

My sister and I attended one of these so-called free Learn To Be Rich lectures in Jacksonville this past January. We did so because we had read about six of Robert Kiyosaki's books, and thought that he was a wise financial guru! Boy, was I wrong!

First of all, the speaker spent most of the two hours promoting a three-day real estate workshop, which was also in Jacksonville in March. The workshop was $995, but for "today, today only", you could buy this for $495. When he wasn't promoting the three-day workshop, he was telling the success stories of the ones that attended the workshop, and telling his own success stories. He even went on to say that we could "learn to be rich" by spending $1.36 a day! Wow, the cost of the workshop over a year. Give me a break! When we returned to home, we told all of our family and friends that we signed up for the workshop&all of whom tried to talk us out of going! Man, I wish many a day I had listened to them.

We did attend the workshop... If you want to call it that! It was total bullcrap if you ask me! The instructor was slick as an eel, and would even try to embarrass you if you disagreed with him. He would even make you go to the microphone, state your name, and apologize to the class if you arrived late. How insulting! This was just one of many tactics used.

He then gave us our first homework assignment&to call our credit card companies during lunch and try to get our credit raised. Then we spent the next hour or so listening to the testimonials of those who were successful. I didn't think much of this at first.

That is, until the next day when we learned why they really wanted us to get our limits raised... To pay for the more expensive "advanced training classes". The instructor waited until the second day to drop this bomb on you. This was not mentioned on the website or at the free lecture. The price of the advanced training: $9,000 to $44,000!!! Whoa! I felt as if I had been kicked in the nads! And that was the discount price... If you waited until after the workshop, those same classes would cost $13,500 to $90,000!

You could have heard a pin drop when the instructor made this announcement. Everyone in the class was quiet, obviously from shellshock! Then, he had the nerve to ask us who wanted to sign up. No one moved. Since no one signed up, he then painted this picture of us one day being in the Rich Dad Hall of Fame. (They should be in the Hall of Shame!) Oh, the best part... They don't finance this, so it is up to you to come up with this money. It's an investment in your future and your education, after all! He then asked one of the other members of the team to come up and share with us how we could raise this money. It was everything from borrowing money from your family and friends, raiding your IRA's and 401k's, taking out a HELOC, as well as others that I don't remember now. Our homework assignment for Day Two? Going home and coming up with this money by the following day! I knew at this moment that I had made a huge mistake. I was literally sick to my stomach! I wanted to throw up!

I was so disappointed and felt so betrayed that I started not to return for the third and final day. I did so because I didn't want my sister to go to the class by herself and face these crooks alone. It was on this day that we were to meet with the "Success Team". Success Team, my behind! All they wanted to do was sign us up for the additional classes. When we told them that we didn't have that kind of money, they couldn't wait to get rid of us! I have never felt so betrayed and so insulted in my life! Then, the instructor made one final attempt to guilt us into enrolling in these classes. He told the class that those of us that didn't sign up for additional training would be just as broke in two years as we are now and that those that signed up would be so much further ahead financially. Who knows what the future holds? I may be broke in two years, but it won't be because I listened to these fools! I felt as if I was on a used car lot for three straight days!

Please, don't waste your time or your money on this crap!!
