I could think of alot of words to describe this RIPOFF company (National Wellness Network) that is if I spoke with those words.
I'am a single Mother with 3 young children and I homeschool.
One night AT&T called me (in the beg of May) I was in a hurry I was leaving on a trip the very next day. The lady from AT&T was trying to sell me a cell phone for only $19.95 I really didn't want to speak with her at that moment but she was very persistant and said it would only take a few minutes so I agreed to listlen it took over 20 minutes, at this point I just wanted to get over with the conversation, I agree to the phone but she failed to tell me that I couldn't use any other plan with this phone and I really don't remember her telling me about this National Wellness Network and having this company the (NWN) take out of my account $59.95 plus $99.99.
When I found out through my bank this money was taken out account I was so appauled, I couldn't understand why a check I wrote to a credit card place bounced it was because the money was taken out for NWN before my credit bill was paid I was extremely PISSED! Not to mention having to pay a late fee on my credit card. When I got their phone number and called I told them I didn't want this service and to give me back my money! They told me at first to write to an address which they gave to me that I needed to request this in a letter so I did only to get the letter sent back to me refused and marked "OTHER" Whew???
I did this in the beg of June it is now Dec and I still hav not gotten any money credited back to me!
They gave me the run around for way too long I don't remember all who I spoke with (too may people) and different stories.
1st. It was to send a letter (which I still have) 2nd. They said oh that address no longer exist but we have you in our records to refund you, When asked when they couldn't tell me but only to say that they would and that their computer system was down so it might take a bit more time 3rd I finally got to speak with a supervisor, what good did this do NOTHING! At this time I had changed to a new atm card with a diff number they said they couldn't put any money back into my account cause it was closed (like they really tried) or were they just trying to get a new number from me? They said they would end up sending me a check in the mail, HUH! No such thing. I was told to call back on the 30th of October to see if I recieved the mony so when I did this I only get an automated call giving another address to write to. SHIT this is very time consuming and frustrating, trying to get my money back. This is when I thought of trying to get NWN on the internet only to find that another person "Paul" from Rhode Island was also ripped off from NWN.
I have spent much time on the phone with this company. Time that was taken away from my children!!!
I have since stop using AT&T as a phone carrier I didn't appreciate their decieving act in all of this.
I just want my money that is righfully due to my children and i!
MY Time I guess I'm going to have to chalk up for expiernce? I'am very very Pissed at National Wellness Network they are a toal RIP OFF. And THEY LIE!!! I know my story was long but so has it been since I've tried to get my money back. Thank You for your patience and I Hope to GOD that NO ONE ever again becomes a VICTIM of National Wellness Network. Shut them down. They are ALL LIES and very DECIEVING... Beware.
