The following is to report that the University courses I (and fellow classmates) have taken in the last 16 months, a degree in Medical Billing and Coding will not be worth the paper it is printed on. It is not an Accredited School that is not reconized by the AHIMA and we will not be able to take the required exams (RHIT or RHIA) which is needed to be accepted by the AHIMA. Now this process has been for noting by the school, and they have accepted our money for classes, then the school now states, that they new that we couldnt go any father. "THEY NEW THE PROGRAM DID NOT WORK!"
There are about 90 students that have paid over $2,100 for these classes for an education and now this program does work! Their is a teacher that is willing to let the students sit in his calsses to help in furthering our knowledge to this field, but most of us do not live in Colorado. We are from all states accross the map. What can we do but file a formal complaint and seek and attorney in trying to sucessfully complete and be accreditaed in the degree we rightfully deserve.
