Pridemore Publishing said send an extra $10 to get priority mail! Still waiting!

I saw the ad for Pridemore Publishing in HBC magazine. It ran consecutively so I thought it was a reputable company. I saw the ad in the magazine for months. I lost my job and had no cash coming in. I was desperate and Bob seemed genuine in his story. So I sent in the $42 (extra $10 for priority shipping). Every time I used priority shipping before I've received my stuff within 3-4 days, it has been 8 since I sent them my money (with my number) and I still haven't heard anything. From what I've read of other peoples complaints, this doesn't sound at all like a reputable company. If I'm wrong then I will be the first to apologize.

But when a company asks for extra money to send things quickly you expect to receive the stuff quickly. I even wrote them a note telling them how desperate I was to get started. It's tough being a single parent and not having a job. It makes it even tougher when you trust in a so called reputable company to help you and they leave you hanging. They said I could start making money right away. I wouldn't have to spend anymore money to get started in this company. Still wondering if I'll ever make any money or see my money that I invested.

How can companies get away with this? I know that some peope might say that it's only been 8 days, but for me that extra $10 told me that I'd be well on my way already in making some money. I do not have money to send to these companies that promise to help. This is the 3rd one that has not done what it has promised. I'm tired of being mislead. I'm a good person with a big heart that just wants to pull my family out of debt. Isn't there anyone out there that stands by their word?
