Moving Van Lines
$4,000 for a small move

Obviously I wish I had read this site first.

The quote was for $840, we had to pay $4,000. Once they had our goods, they inflated the hours and materials. Because the condo didn't allow deliveries after 5pm, goods had to go in storage. At that point we had to sign an invoice for $1881. They were supposed to deliver two days later, but never showed. Three days later they showed up with an invoice for $1,500, with no explanation as to what it was for. They would not move us in until we signed. The invoice claimed 12 hours to move in a small one-bedroom apartment, it took two.

Repeated attempts to resolve this have gone nowhere. They are criminals.
