I recently won eBay auction for phone being sold as "Condition: New, Never Opened". When registering the phone via Verizon Wireless they checked the ESN history and discovered otherwise. They stated the phone was sold to an individual in 2005 who had it for 3 days and returned the it as defective. It was re-sold to another individual in 2006 who had it for several months and returned it AGAIN as defective. LL Cellular sold me the phone as BRAND NEW when in fact it's been owned, used and returned as defective by two other people. Their eBay ad also describes their product: "All Phones are brand new UNLESS otherwise noted." Yea, sure.
Upon inspecting their feedback in detail I found they have a pattern of this deceptive behavior and numerous complaints of them selling broken and used phones as "brand new, never opened". See for yourself: http://feedback. Ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI. Dll? ViewFeedback2&userid=llcellular
It appears they know they're selling used (and broken) phones but advertising them as brand new units.
Avoid this outfit like the plague!!!
