I want to thank this web site and everyone who posted their complaints regarding Jordan Publishing and their companies including Foreclose Store and Foreclosures Uncovered. My husband and I are currently looking at the Foreclosure market. We have been getting many solicitations from this company and finally decided to sign up for their 7-day trial membership. We gave our credit card information and once we had access to the web site info we didn't like what we saw, or rather didn't see. Their information was useless. Immediately that same evening we cancelled our membership via email. The next morning we received confirmation that we were cancelled. We were rightfully billed 8.95 for the free trial period. We became suspicious when the day before the free trial was to expire we received a charge of $0.99 and had no clue what for. I decided to check out consumer complaints and low and behold there are a lot of complaints. I quickly called my credit card company and cancelled my card. Amazingly the $0.99 charge "went away". Now, they will not be able to collect the $297 w/o our authorization. Luckily I kept all my backups should they rear their ugly heads again!!! This company is confusing in that with every communication from them you get a different company name, contact person, etc. I have no idea why when signing up with Foreclosure Store in the beginning I get a charge from Jordan Publishing and another one from Foreclosures Uncovered. I believe this is a way for Jordan to confuse people while protecting their company.
