One day i was just on my computer doing research, and suddenly JRP called and had said that they would like me to come and audition for modeling, acting, or singing.
So i had agreed to go and try out. They had made an apointment, but i had missed the apointment due to some circumstances. I had called back to check if we could reschedule for another day. When my dad and i went to go check it out, there wasnt a lot of people. The (so called) agents introduced themselves they made it look so really. And the speaker (as WE were told) use to be a plus-size model.
After i did my screen test and interview my dad and i went home. We talked about it in the car and i said that i really want to do these, but i just dont know if im going to make it. The next day, i had gotten home from school and called JRP 3 hours later than the time card had said. But they had still told my dad (even after they said "If you call late you will be cut and we will move on to the next person") that i made it and to bring 500 dallors. My family has low-income so we dont want to go through with this but they know that this is what I really want to do in life. We havent given them the money yet because we think that $500 down payment, the $1950, AND the $100 per class is just too much. We dont have that kind of money.
On the infomation sheet they had given to me, said that if they really liked the auditioner than they will pay for everything, but i think it is kind of unfair. Why would they pay for someone, unless that someone is going to be their success. Also, cant i just take regular classes, like at school or at a cheaper place that would, technically, teach me the same things that the coachs (they want me to pay for) would teach me? I want to know of this is FAKE, and if im going to do bussiness with them would it waste the money that we currently dont even have. OH! Also, how did they get my number when i never even heard of them before?
