If you have read previous reports... Ditto. I was one of the people desperate enough and ignorant enough to think that they were going to help me get my business off the ground. As long as they know you can get and then transfer the money to them they are good. It is still all DO IT YOURSELF. Almost no support and then they had the nerve to debit my checking account for monthly fee for software I never used nor did I approve of the monthly fee. I guess I thought I was dealing with a reputable company as I HAD much respect for Robert K., but once I got to the first advanced edu class I found out they had nothing to do with him or his "Rich Dad" philosophies!!! The trainers knew very little about the "Rich Dad" way of thinking! Training was pretty basic, nothing that I hadn't heard before and rec'd for FREE... And now I had invested $16,000 to get more basic info.
The reps were working feverishly to sign people up for these VERY EXPENSIVE CLASSES, and didn't have a clue of what they were doing. Every time my partner asked a question our rep had to go ask someone else the answer. Not to mention that there was a software package that had a 15 day "free trial, " and I specifically questioned as to whether we would be charged a monthly fee for the software, as I didn't want or need it, and I was told by a woman named Dana that I would not be charged a monthly fee since we did not initial the box that would have approved it. We did however have to sign in another area to approve the $15,000 charges for the purchase of the classes. Several months later we are stil being charged and they actually accused me of "changing the contract" as they said that their copy had my initials in the area requesting monthly software service.
I believe it is much easier to change an original than it is to change a carbon! (I now find out that there is a third party involved and that has my bank info! That third parts is Equamine and I CERTAINLY DID NOT GIVE THEM MY PERMISSION TO CHARGE ME!!!) Do Robert and Russ really need to steal our money???
I am going to attempt to get my money back... I just spoke to someone from Russ Whitney's WIA and they gave me info about how to "request" a refund.
I pray that I get some help here. I am now the only bread winner in my family as my husband has had to have 2 brain surgeries in the last year and half and I don't need the grief as much as I need the money.
Good luck to all that have fallen victim. I will no longer trust the integrity of "Rich Dad"... I don't think that is how Robert's Rich Dad expected him to build wealth.
