Scam, Bait and Switch Ripoff

I wish I'd found this web site before I'd given Russ Whitney my money. Luckily I didn't take the whole bait, hook and sinker. I've been reading the Rich Dad books, so when I received an invitation to a free seminar in Ft Lauderdale FL, I signed up. The free (lol) seminar was nothing more than a high pressure sales tactic pay $495 for 2 people to attend there Real Estate Investing program from Rich Dad Robert Kiyosaki. There was no mention of any other organization or partners.

I attended the program in Orlando, FL. On the first day of the $495 seminar, that is supposed to teach you about Real Estate investing the instructor lets you know about the exciting new partnership between Robert Kiyosaki and The Wealth Intelligence Academy. As I now know AKA Russ Whitney.

I began to get a little suspicious when the instructor (Ann SanFelippo), as our first homework assignment asked the class to go home and call their credit card companies. She asked everyone to ask the credit card company to double their credit limits and lower their interest rates. She then explained a strategy that could be used to delay paying their credit card bill. She instructed the class to request "Connivance Checks" for each Credit Card. Then the strategy simply was use MC, pay them with a Connivance Check from Visa, pay Visa with a Connivance Check from AMX etc... She even went so far as to say this technique could be used for pay for more classes from The Wealth Intelligence Academy.

By the end of day 2 we were hit with the cost of more classes.

Option #1 Rich Dad U and 1 other class $8990
Option #2 Rich Dad U and 3 other classes $14990
Option #3 Rich Dad U and 3 other classes a mentor $23990
Option #4 Rich Dad U and 7 other classes a mentor $33990 (Recommended)
Option #5 Rich Dad U and 11 other classes a mentor $43990
All classes include software

No wonder we needed to increase our credit card limits. She had those successful students get up and speak into a microphone and let the class know just how much they could now spend.

Day 3 was pretty much the hard sell. Although the material was somewhat interesting every point was followed with you need the software and/or you need more training.

There were about 120 in this seminar and I'd say close to half bought the a package. A package that ranged between $8990-$43990. Let me also say that the prices were only good for that day referred to as "On-Site" prices.

I feel the whole thing was a scam, a $495 scam. They lead you to believe that you only need one more step. Then they give you the price for that step. A lot of people bought in, and she said we were a small group.

Don't do this seminar, boycott it. Unless you have a lot of extra money and you enjoy a VERY VERY hard sell.

I feel luckly, luckly I'm only out $495 and not THOUSANDS.
