After going through my phone bill's details for the first time in 5 months, I noticed "Enhanced Service" charges for $14.95 per month since October. I called AT&T and they said they couldn't help me, that I had to contact the company whose name appeared next to these charges on my bill. This company, Residential E-Mail, claims that I signed up for this service on line in October, but that I have yet to take advantage of the benefits of the service, would I like to hear the benefits of the service. That's when I cut her off to tell her that I wanted my money back, all $74.75 of it back, unless she could prove to me that I personally authorized this. She said she had to verify my billing address, etc. And that I would receive a credit on my phone bill within 1-7 business days. I will believe it when I see it, but I am not giving up! I feel violated that an outside company can begin charging my phone bill with bogus charges without my authorization!
