I also recieved the letter stating that I ad won $420,000.00 with a check in the amount of $4800.00 enclosed. I called the number and also spoke to a man named Michael. He told me I was a very lucky lady and to run right out to WalMart and send a money gram in the amount of $2900.00 for the US taxes and to release the funds to me. I asked what would happen if his check I received did not clear and he fast talked me but NEVER answered the question. I recently lost my job and was thrilled that I had won since I always play that stuff on the internet. But I was leary since Michael NEVER gave me a stright answer. I have been in the financial industry for over 20 years and thought better so I deposited the check into my bank and waited to see if it cleared since the date to claim the prize was still 10 days away.
Sure enough the check came back NO GOOD and not only did I get ripped off but it cost me $10.00 for the check being returned. SOmething I can not afford. I tried to call the company back to confront them but your number is blocked once you call so you can never get back through unless you call from another phone. I only have one phone so I have not been able to contact them again. Shame on them for preying on people that are in financial strights already. BEWARE of this company!!!
