This company makes you pay for a training course before they will hire you. They called it earnest money. The price...$450. They also say that they will pay you $14 an hour for 160 hours while you take the course. You had four weeks to complete the course. While at the interview there was no "company presence". There were no posters, pamphlets, letterhead or information of any kind in the office about Receiver Corporation. The office was plain with only a desk and chair.
The interviewer's business cards were home made on a home computer as was the "professional" training course which was done poorly on a home computer. The company has a WEB site but it was very slim on information. (www.receivercorporation.com) The interviewer was located in a business center and not in any kind of company office. The whole situation smelled of fraud and ripoff.
I know of no company that charges you to go to work for them. This "company" sucks in those poor people who have been looking for work and have not been able to find any. They prey upon them to make them spend their savings and give them empty promises. This is a master ripoff operation. Anyone being contacted by this company should report it to the Better Business Bureau asap.
