US Credit Management
I have become, yet another U.S. Credit Management casualty! They stole $4500 of my money!

I desperately sought help in resolving $11,000 of credit card debt.

Alfred Anderson from U.S. Credit Management talked the talk convincingly enough that I entered their program in December to build an escrow account that would, through "negotiations" with the creditors, pay off the debt that I was struggling with.

An automatic monthly draft from my checking account was set up for payments. I agreed to this only after I was assured that I would be updated about the "negotiation" progress from Alfred Anderson on a regular basis. I never heard from anyone for a long period of time and found myself calling (when I could actually get a human to take my call) them to at least know they were performing the duties that justified the service fee of $1728.96 they required. When I finally got someone on the phone, I was told basically that "everything was fine and that negotiations were proceeding now that my escrow account was building, but that it was a slow process".

From my stand point, the only thing that happened quickly was their ability to take their fee from the first bank drafts, before any of my previous creditors were even contacted!!! I know this because I spent most of my days receiving phone calls at work from the creditors, explaining that I was trying to resolve this thru USCM! I thought that was why I was paying USCM this huge sum of money.

I filed a complaint with the BBB, only to find out that after two years, none of my payments were applied to ANY of my debt. None! I received an impersonal letter from them stating simply: "We are no longer able to assist you, and your contract has been terminated effective immediately". They stole $4425.00 that I believed was resolving this credit nightmare. Now my credit report is in shambles and USCM has filed bankruptcy, leaving me without hope of seeing those funds.

If anyone can advise me of my options at this point, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm just stunned that this company can get away with doing this to me and apparently, many others. Please advise.
