Ocwen Federal Bank Took my payments, kept me on a forebearance program 2 years longer than it was agreeded upon, sending my payments back to me, and now I'm going to lose my house.
Ocwen put me on a forebearance program when I fell behind on my mortgage payments in December of 1999. They asked me to pay one months of the three I was behind and the rest will be put into a forebearance program that will expire in December. They kept me on the program to this date.
When I asked them about this they stated that my mortgage payments went up due to an adjustable mortgage and that I am still on the forebearance program. Now they are saying that I am contractually behind on my mortgage payments for September 18th of 2001 and they are sending all of my mortgage payments back to me. Each letter, along with my uncashed checks, would say that it is not enough to cure the defaulted amount of my loan, the full amount must be paid. The last payment they cashed from me was on January of this year.
They have yet to send me a letter as to how much I am suppose to pay. Now I am getting all kinds of letters from Law Firms about my house is being put up for sale at a Sheriff's sale set for October 2nd of this year, on my birthday. The mortgage companies on the letter who is doing this are IMC Mortgage Company amd Residential Money Center. Ocwen supposedly took over the mortgage from them on December 22,1998. Ocwen refuses to work with me on this matter, they are not reporting to the credit reporting agencies, and they are the mortgage company from the depths of hell.
