My friend in Germany, Anja Rindfleisch, wanted to bid on a resin Raakid resin model horse listed to ebay by divemaster418 ("Grace Bruce" was the name listed as the seller). The seller supposedly was selling off a late sister's estate to pay outstanding bills the sister left when she passed away. The seller wanted payment with U.S. Postal money orders only and wanted payment sent within five days of bidding. Anja wrote to the seller to see if it was okay to send the money to me through Paypal so that I could get the money order as payment for her here in the United States. The seller agreed to allow a second party to send the money and would send the model to me.
Anja transferred the money to me through Paypal, and I withdrew it to get a money order for the seller. The money was sent on Sept. 5 and the seller acknowledged that payment was received on Sept. 9; she also left Anja positive feedback. T
He package I received did not have the Raakid resin inside; instead it was a less expensive china horse figurine; later I found out this was stolen property from Lakeshore China's Cindy Neuhaus via a charge-back on a credit card under the account name of "Max Reed". I wrote to the seller that she mistakenly sent an incorrect model, and she apologized profusely saying she had the correct model still at her home and would send it out within the next few days. This was three weeks ago and she has not sent the correct model; she has stopped communicating as well.
A couple of days ago another person whom this seller swindled contacted me with the information that this was not Grace Bruce, but instead was the famous rip-off artist Danielle Reed-Perantheax. We were not aware Danielle was released from jail and was back to her old thieving ways.
Grace Bruce is apparently her mother's name (former step-father was Jeff Bruce). Apparently Danielle has been a resident on Haskell in Van Nuys for years, but switches off apartments within the building. DO NOT deal with anyone from Van Nuys or the surrounding area unless you know the person well that you are dealing with. Danielle is very well-spoken and convincing in her correspondence... Well-practiced as deceiving others.
