Beware! Ordering Kevin Trudeau's Weight Loss Cure book turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I've made in a long time. Not only did the book promote the usage of tons of herbal products and hcG injections that would be hard to comply with and cost a fortune, I made the mistake of using my debit card to order.
I was initially scammed for an extra 9.99 expedited shipping charge (in addition to regular shipping charge which was not communicated when I made the order), and I did not even get the order within the 3-5 business days as promised. When I called, I was promised a credit of 9.99, but was told this would take 30 days.
In addition, about 2 &1/2 weeks later another charge of 9.95 was posted to my account instead of a credit. When I called the 800 # to question this, I was advised that this was an additional fee for website usage that I initially declined and did not authorize.
Again, I was told that I would be credited for this fee as well, but this too would take another 30 days. After I hung up, I immediate went on-line to see if this was common behavior and found more than 100 entries on how others has been ripped off both by the book and unauthorized billings to their debit and credit cards by this company.
I then called my bank to dispute the 2nd charge and file a report to investigate. I was told that my debit card account # would have to be shut down and a new one authorized because the bank could not prevent this company for further fraudulent billings. It's amazing how Kevin Trudeau and Natural Cures is allowed to stay in business with these types of practices and behaviors.
