Today there are over 400 Chinese list brokers (complete or partial) in USA who buy electronic counterfeit regularly with full knowledge, bypassing the risk involed and federal laws. It includes few big names.
It is now US companies who have become high risk suppliers who buy chinese counterfeits calling as original parts and then supplying to asian manufacturers. Recently there are many complaints about American and European companies who bring parts from China and supply to asian companies.
We have found above american who is an active member of ERAI and regularly harping on combating counterfeits— they have recently bought MAX667ESA from Asia Chip in Mainland china/hongkong knowing that this company sell counterfeits.

Another UK company recently shipped counterfeit plessey parts to non-chinese Asian brokers -used for communication and wireless. He claimed parts to be genuine, but eventually it came from china. Today there are many native american and european companies who openly flaunt Chinese inventory which has approximately 50000 line items allmost all fake or counterfeit. The day is not far when American brokers will merely remain chinese agents.
