Union Adjustment purchased a prior debt of mine from 2001. Original amount owed $7800.00.in June my Lender contacted Union Adjustment for a payoff amount. A check for $13000.00 was sent to Union made out to the Attorney which is there inhouse attorney HM Bergmen. I discovered later the $5700.00 overpayment and when I contacted Union Adjustment regarding I wanted an itemized statement showing exactly what this money paid. I was told that it was interest and attorney fees. I realize that interest and attorney fees would be added to my debt but that is highway robbery. Well since my account is now paid in full, I can not get the simple information I requested. I did receive what they thought to be an itemized statement but none of the figures even match any statements or the original lien filed. It's been over a year now and I still can not get Union Adjustment to forward information to the credit bureaus that I have even paid my account in full.
