Sent check for $19.99 before learning company is a ripoff

Received official looking letter stating I am the winner of $1,900, 000.00, but I was to send $19.99 for a report fee. I mail them a personal check (with several numbers of my bank account number blocked out) to cover the $19.99. I should have checked on frauds before sending the check, not after.
