Home Loans failure to post payment won't accept mo receipt and signature card general run-around

How can a company deny receiving a payment when we received the certified signature card back in the mail? Every six months our payments get lost because the company changes addresses... One time they even pulled two payments from our checking account causing an OD and many headaches with other companies... Once, we have had to make double payments because we couldn't find the payment receipts, NOT ANYMORE... The last incidence takes place in May.

Our payment was mailed on May 18th to WAMU PO Box 3200 Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53201... It arrived in Milwaukee on 5/20 at 23:21... At 23:22 it is addressed as undeliverable as addressed and forwarded to Jacksonville, Fl. Arrived WAMU PO Box 41275 Jacksonville, FL at 06:20 on 5/29... A "Sedrick McCary" stamped a signature and printed name on the certified mail return card and it was mailed back to our address and received on 6/1!

On June 1st, we spoke to "Myra"... She told us to fax a copy of all receipts that we have to her so she could open an internal investigation... At about 11:30 am our bank faxed 2 papers with the purchase receipts, money order receipt, certified mail receipt, signed certified signature copy, and copy of postal trace to 1.818.775.2591 "ATTN: Myra".

On June 2nd, beginning at 8:30 in the morning the first of 4 phone calls began... The first call was answered, verified all the junk they asked then was asked if we could make May's payment? No, don't really care to make another payment, and explained the situation... I was told that I needed to have it traced even further to see who actually CASHED the money order, okay. The post office tells me for another $5.00 they can do that... No way am I paying another dime for their mistakes, I am already paying an extra $5.25 to send it certified and have a signed card as proof.

I go through the same thing on June 3rd 3 times, June 4th 9 times, June 5th 7 times, June 6th 5 times and today, June 7th twice so far. On the 6th, I was told that Jacksonville was not a payment office and that it was probably being forwarded to Phoenix, AZ, okay... Whatever! My husband was told less than an hour later that ANY office could accept payment and make the posting of that payment!

Now on the 7th, "Tamika" proceeds to tell me that if we are not willing to trace it and see who cashed the payment and get a tracking number for them to use... Now mind you they have a copy of EVERYTHING that I have-why can't they just trace it for their own selves... That there was nothing more that they could do to help us, she said that because we were refusing to "help" them, they COULD proceed with further action.

In order to prevent that, I could make another payment by phone and they would post within 10 days and that if by chance the other payment showed up, they would post it as well and we would be ahead of the game! NO WAY NO HOW... I will just continue to make my monthly payments as planned and figure out a way for them to eat all the late fees due to their error.

I also asked them to take us off of the auto dial thing and to PLEASE quit calling 6 to 10 times a day... Was told that according to their records we are late for May and until it is paid, we will receive calls every two hours!!! I do believe that is phone harrassment and may check into legally having it STOPPED! Until then I guess I will just deal with it...
