UCF is an amazing university with very professional and dedicated teachers. Many classes I've taken there resulted in being bullied or absued by professors or discriminated against. One class in particular and recent was an acting class taught by prof Boyd. Prof Boyd acted in a very disturbing manner, making students repeat phrases in excess of 20 times, and picked on various students. She was abusive in her behavior and even mocked students. She even touched students if she had the chance while doing her floor exercises - without asking them permission to do so. She asked a student to walk around a couch several times, to 'take instruction', and when the student refused to do so, and left the class for a day, she then forced them to drop the class for the entire semester. She was condescending and degrading the entire time putting people down everyday, telling them negative things about their acting abilities, rather than being helpful or constructive. Her class was a nightmare, and she is a terrible teacher, if you want to even call her that. Nothing was done by the ucf staff about her abusive behavior and these are the kind of 'professors' that this unethical school hires - those that get off on abusing and mistreating students. This school is common for having teachers that are like this, and discriminate against students on a regular basis.
