My friend and I joined this so-called company last year. You can call me Yames Spaz-Bill and him Ren Quinton. Although we both learned a lot of languages and how to read people, we lost our souls. The demise of our humanity occurred through a series of incongruities in the "management learning" process. If any item we carried broke, we still were responsible to sell it.
We were told that we were the managers of our own businesses, yet we were not able to call in sick or take a personal day due to an emergency. We worked 6 days a week for at least 12 hours a day (unless you were a team leader like us, then you had to work 14 hours a day... Yeah!). Overtime? Hmm. NO! Do you like your car? Well it will go to hell in a hand basket real quick if you do this job. You want to get robbed? Yelled at? Assaulted? How about getting told to "keep a positive attitude" or "JUICE!" every single day? If so, this is your calling. JUICE means Join US In Creating Excitement, or was it excrement? And we were told to yell this acronym after everything we did. We do have to add some of the positives about the job, since we both worked there over 5 months and 11 months respectively. We both lost a lot of weight.
It may have had something to do with the malnutrition, since we rarely had enough for three whole meals a day, and the lack of sleep. Or maybe the 10 miles we walked a day. Either way, we won in the end. Sometimes (AKA often) our daily meal consisted of a Monster energy drink and a Mars bar. When we did well on a certain week, we would buy ourselves a Little Debbie Snack Cake. We were both told we were going to be able to open our own offices, but we left the business for ethical reasons.
If you are considering whether this job option is right for you, think about it. Think about it long and hard. Then jab yourself in the face with the nearest sharp stick. Do you still want the job? If yes, repeat steps 1 through 3 and then get in there for your three job interviews.
