8 months ago my husband was contacted by this company. He entered into this agreement after being pressured by the representative named Lorne Freeman. He thought this would be a good opportunity for me since I am a stay-at-home mom. The 'non-cancellable' lease is for 48 months at $130 per month. We have had this payment amount drafted now since April.
They sent us a laptop computer, but the lease stated it must be returned at the end of the lease or we have to purchase it. They promised us help in setting up the website, advertising it and getting the products drop-shipped to the customers.
First of all none of that ever happened. I called the company before our first draft was taken out of our bank account to try and get it cancelled. The man I spoke to was very rude. I told him that we had gotten no help in any way and that I still had the original packaging the computer came in and that we would return it immediately.
He began to call me a *itch, *hore, and other profanities. I was in tears, and could hardly speak. I did tell him that all I had to do was close that bank account or have the bank stop allowing the debits. He told me that he would see us in court. I have beeb too afraid to close that account or do anything until I found this website. Our next debit will be on the 13th of December. I think I will be going to my bank before then and closing that account and opening a new one.
Has anyone that closed their bank account and sent the computer back been under any legal action yet? How can we get this Class Action Lawsuit underway? What does it require? I am ready to sign up, so please notify me when it is ready. You know what the saddest part of this is? We were approached by this company through our mortgage company when we closed on our home equity loan. SO, what does that tell you about these mortgage companies?
