I also was "ALMOST-SCAMMED" into losing $8— pf my hard earned money!!! I applied for a loan on-line also (my credit is not too good) ALPHA FINANCIAL FOUNDATIONS, came up after I put bad credit loans in searh engine. They had a very "legitimate-looking" web-site, alphafinancialloans.com/application.html which I must admit almost fooled me!!!
I applied for a loan on the web-site. They claimed to be members of the financial service commission, and sated this on their web-ste as well... Which also made them appear to be a "legitimate" organization.
I received an e-mail and phone call at my home 1 day later from a "Paige Saunders" claiming to be a loan-agent who would help me obtain the 10K loan I had requested,
Hi Ms. _ My name is Paige Saunders. I'm a loan consultant here at Alpha Financial Foundations. Your application for a loan request in the amount of $10,000 has been submitted to my department to get the information verified. I would need to confirm the information that we have here before I can take it to the lenders to get it approved. If you are still interested in this amount please contact me either by phone at 1-647-868-7219 or e-mail me with your response. Thank You Paige Saunders
When I spoke with this "bogus" Paige Saunders over the phone, I was very skeptical, as she told me that she had obtained a lender for me for the $10,000, but she stated that inorder to secure the loan I would have to secure it with collateral, co-signer with 880 score or higher (which is an unrealistic credit score!!! Not enven Donald Trump has an 880 fica score!!!) or with insurance, which she said would be $800 in order to take out an insurance policy against the loan.
I was immediately very suspiscious of "bogus" Paige Saunders and I told her I'd get back to her, (I asked for her to fax me loan paperwork, so I could have something in writing to investigate her scam) she e-mailed me a fake loan document with totally bogus names and addresses on it., which I checked out extensively with directory assistance, yellow pages, finanacial service commission never heard of the company, and also verified every name and address on the "phony loan contract" to be non-existent!!!
I HAD PROVEN MYSELF CORRECT AND I AM SO HAPPY AND GATEFUL THAT I WENT WITH MY INSTINCTS AND DID NOT GIVE THESE CON-ARTISTS A PENNY OF MY HARD-EARNED MONEY!!! However, I NEVER had any intentions of getting back in touch with her. My intentions were too begin investigating her cunning practices, which I'm SO GRATEFUL i did!!!
Everytime i received a phone call from "bogus" paige saunders, i would keep log of it on my caller id, and i noticed that she was calling from a 13 different cell phone #"s!!! She is a very clever and sneakly, devious perosn and i have forwarded all of the information that i have on her to the financial services commissions, and they have in turn spoken with me and assured me that they are turning the information over to their legal department to do an extensive investigation and i hope this person and her crafty organization of crooks get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law! Canadian crooks!!!
To all who ar reading this, please be educated consumers, even if you have bad credit, you still do not deserve to be swindled by low-life con-artists such as paige saunders. I hope i have helped others, as well as myself in this matter!!!
