My husband received a call from NSBA after buying our small business. He understood them to say we would receive a credit card for $8000.00, but instead we received a portfolio containing discounts on travel and computer supplies. We do not need either. We contacted NSBA 5 days later on May 1st and cancelled. We received our confirmation letter stated we would get a refund of our $149.95 in 30 days.
It has been over 110 days and we have tried to call them on numerous occasions. We are on hold for 20 to 30 minutes and then if they do answer they are rude and might even hang up. I was given the name and phone number for Romy the supervisor, whose voice mailbox is always full. (now I know why), she never returns your phone calls. When I spoke to someone in July they stated that the accounting department was on vacation that week. (the whole department?) I have spoken with the Attorney Generals Office and I have filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. I feel like this company should have to pay for the way they prey on small business owners. We are all just trying to make an honest living and dealing with dishonest people. This company is a FRAUD, and I hope other people read this and hang up on them when they call. And by the way "Romy" needs to go!!!
