I as well have been ripped off by IWS Grant Assitance! I received a phone call from a Rep and I agreed to get the info sent to me. I was told that I would not be charged anything unless I called the number 866-370-7270 (besides the shipping for my free info) and told them I wanted to get there assistance program. I still haven't received info I paid for.
Did they say this to anyone else? I asked over and over again "Is this really the only charge"? (referring to the shipping fee) he assured me that was all I would be charged. I would never have agreed to this if I knew they would take $29.95 out of my account without my authorization! I found out today when I noticed my account was overdrawn. I'm a single mom so I am very angry I cannot afford this plus now a charge for letting my account be overdrawn. I will be contacting them tomorrow and I hope I have success. FYI usually you can dispute the transaction with your bank they will usually put the money back in your account while they do research. I am going to make sure my bank see's this information on this site.
I have said to much I'm sorry but I am so mad!!! I will help in any way I can what ever needs to be done to get this crappy company out of business. Let me know what I can do. I will let you know if I get any help today. Thank you for being here.
