I have purchased several products at Tiffany but always online. I have never had a problem but most recently I decided to buy an item at the actual store. As always the staff was very professinal and helped me immediately. I was shown the product that I wanted to purchase and it was behind the a glass cube. I told the salesperson that was the product I wanted and he proceeded to get my actual product from their storage space and he began to giftwrap it in the signature Tiffany box and white bow. A couple of days later I gave the present to my girlfriend and come to find that the product is scratched. The items value was $300.
I proceeded to return it at the store but was told that they did not sell merchandise in that condition and that they were a prestigious store and that the only thing they could do is polish it for me!!! Thats all polish it for me... They could not do anything else. I had made the purchase only about four days back.in other words i was trying to scam them. I have never returned anything i had recently bought from them. Be careful do not trust anyone at this tiffany or their customer service period. I was mistreated and insulted.
