HUB Design Build installed a shower stall in our home in the Spring of 2000 during a remodeling job. That shower stall leaked onto the floor the first time it was used. It also leaked into the drywall next to the glass enclosure continuously for the next five years.
HUB Design Build came multiple times to replace the rotten drywall next to the shower, but never fixed the leak.in December we insisted the leak had gone on too long and HUB Design Build replaced the entire shower stall. The new shower stall leaks into the drywall next to the glass enclosure, just like the previous one.
We researched the problem with industry sources and have given HUB Design Build the detailed requirements for repairs, including in-process and final inspection by the local Radnor Township, PA Building and Health Departments.
HUB has refused to repair the shower stall to our requirements, again attempting to perform the same repairs that have gotten us to this point. We feel that replacing the drywall instead of fixing the leak - after six years and two shower stalls - is unacceptable.
HUB ripped us off in Spring of 2000 and in December by their shoddy installation of two shower stalls into our home. HUB has not performed the service we contracted for six years ago which was to have a fully functioning, non-leaking shower stall installed into our home.
