My child are owed over 35,000 in back child support. I have contacted both the friend of the court and the state's attorney's office, neither of which care. My child's father owns his own trucking company and over 5 acres of land in northern michigan all of which is in his wife's name.
He never files/or the state/court/federal government never withholds his tax refunds. The state's attorney's office did email me with paperwork for me to do all the legwork for them, which I did. I provided them with his current address, the name of the company he owns. It's been over a year with no response from them at all. Why do DEADBEAT fathers in Michigan continue to get away with never paying.
I agree with everyone else in that trying to contact FOC will get you no where, specially if you are living out of state.
