I just got my credit report & i have two accounts of the same amount for bell south. One collection company is cbcs. For $564.00 & park dansan collection for bell south $564.00, also. I have called both companies & have tried unsuccessfully to get them to do something about this. But, to no avail they are giving me the run around. I am trying to buy a house & get these off my credit report. I incurred this bill back over 8 years ago, & its just now coming up on my report.
I would love to know what to do about this matter, for i am at my wits end! The lady at cbcs collection agency was a b..., when talking with her she wanted excess amt of information. But, the lady at park dansan was really nice. How do i get this off? Is there still a "thing" (after seven years) it goes away. Please help anyone & let me know what to do regarding this matter.
