My husband and I purchased shutters back in August by Manley. He also told us if we paid in full we would not have to pay taxes. Luckily we paid 1/2. Manley told us it would be receiving within 6-8 weeks. We did receive them in November.
First they were not what we ordered, and did not receive ALL SHUTTERS, secondly the quality was very poor, runny paint, and chips. Just not at all what we thought we were going to be getting. They did not complete the job and said they would be returning and never did.
Come to find out they will not be completing the job, and they are in the process in filing Chapter 11 which I was told. Here recently I received a call from Kristen wanting to collect the remainder of the money. I then told her to call my husband. He told her that he would not be paying her and told her basically to take him to court. She then threatened to put a lean on the house. Now this is a person that ripped off so many other people and she wants to collect money for a job that was not even completed. Now she's got nerve.
