This company is a scam and preys on people with less-than-perfect credit. I was contacted by a gentleman named Richard Burnes and told that I was approved for a $5,000 loan. The only thing they would need to secure this loan would be $900 which would be used as "collateral". I was instructed to send the money (cash) via western union to someone in Toronto Canada. When asked if they could simply 'draft' it from my account, I was told they could not do that. They would need the case wired to them. When asked who this person in Toronto was, Mr. Burnes said it was the agent assigned to my account.
It is worth noting that the contractual agreement that was faxed to me had typographical errors throughout, which would be one of many indicators that this company is nothing more than a scam. Furthermore, their website states they are members of the Better Business Bureau - another lie. I checked with the Baltimore BBB and there is no such company. Additionally it is worth noting that any legitimate company not only has a local phone number, a fax number different from their toll-free number, but also has an email address listed on their website.
If you spend some time on their site, you will notice that the hours of operation are listed differently at various locations on their site and there is no way to actually contact them on the website other than the "apply now" button.
I hope people will do some "investigating" before they fall prey to this company. They are a fraudulant company and have no intention of lending money to any of their victims.
